I was expecting either the X-files or 70s Doctor Who... I'd totally forgotten about Hardy Drew and the Nancy Boys. Was it written by the same bloke that did the theme from Air Wolf?

Glen A Larson's name seemed to be on every American programme back then. he must have been busy.
Interweb tells me Nancy Drew theme was written by Jack Elliott, and Airwolf by Sylvester Levay. They do sound sort of similar.
