Highflying airliners are difficult anyway. Looks quite okay I think. Can even see the SwissAir logo. Used any filters? That could make some difference.
Airliners are often white and reflecting light, which makes setting a good exposure time difficult. Specially against the bright blue background. Also atmospheric disturbance from temperature differences screw up sharpness.

ignoring cujo..:-) Didn't relise that was swiss air well spotted. Tripod would of helped a lot think the sigma apo red ring will have the edge be getting that soon I think:-) the tokina on the other hand is best lens I have ever used really is as good as the L series heh....
