just finished ep 1 and dreadful it is not in fact best thing on tv at moment easily
think I def found a new show for ya muck 
well will be when it airs on tv

Yep was excellent first episode but def taken from the movie The league of extraordinary gentleman which is sweet cause 
im sure Mina Harker will be in future episodes 

No spoilers if you please...  Can't do a worse job than the movie did - didn't Alan Moore disassociate himself with it?

Actually now that I think about it I quite enjoyed the move in its own right, it was just a shit adaptation of the graphic novel.

 

Movie should of been darker but for the day the effects were some of the best around.... not really spoiler about penny dreadful just a likely casting choice
