I am still going to buy some magnets to mess with, and see for myself it doesn't work. After that I would like to try experimenting with electromagnets and permanent magnets. Only problem with that is I have got zero knowledge about electrics, electric circuits and/or even magnetism.
Despite the lack of knowledge I think the solution to the cogging problem explained in the first video could be a well timed pulsing electromagnet which then eventually would derive its power (or perhaps partly) from the spinning fan. In theory it is possible, only regulating the timing of the pulses might be a bit tricky as the fanspeed variates when speeding up, but I have an idea.

Will certainly post a vid if I get it to work. Need to consult my dad about it first.
My dad was a helicopter maintenance mechanic for the army. He also rides Harley, and is good with tools. So he might be able to help me out. On the other hand he may be schooled enough to know better then to even try.

So your real dad would be the Milkman?
Ooh I failed to understand the immaculate part, so you actually meant to say your real dad was a carpenter?

His job was to keep these helicopters flying, he also did maintenance on regular military Alouette3 helicopters.
