#here!
For real down below is an interesting video about molten salt fission reactor.
Those kind of reactors had been tested, but never used commercially, due to more complex design and neither need by western navies nor armies.
They could be used in human space flight programs, and US. air-force had tested this kind as power supply for #nuclear# jet programs years ago, NASA brought idea further to #Nerva/kiwi# projects (is what I posted somewhere on forum some years ago, tip: yt:kiwi reactor). Also I See it in favour than using water as heat exchanger space or on foreign worlds, asteroids. If you find it interesting, watch it

Yes looks interesting. Never even heard of the idea of melting salt with heat.

Going to watch later, but this does look like something quite difficult to really understand.
