California methane gas leak

Heard someone tell on talkradio there is also increased radioactivity measured. (can't remember which show I listen so many)
Supposedly in the past there was a nuclear plant nearby which had an accident. Theory is that the nuclear fuelrods got buried,
and over time melted into the earth, into an oilfield underneath the dumpsite. Which is now causing that 'methane gas' leak.

If this is true it's like a nuclear volcano. pale

Whoa... That's pretty close to where I live but about 40 minutes away. That really sucks for those people to be relocated Sad

Hope your not suffering ill effects from this. Better keep an eye on the wind, and maybe get some anti radiation pills just in case.
