| He shuts his helmet for take off, and then flies around with the visor up? That guy with the fire extinguisher, all prepared to extinguish a fire, wearing only a t-shirt? And the other guy with that backpack with the tube comin out to the front, as if he's the fuel man. As if they really need a person carrying a mobile fuel/airtank. And part of the video they forgot to render the rotorwash cloud over the water. Also the video looks too clean and organised. Must admit I have doubts when saying fake, because it does look like he's really flying. But I am going to say it... fake. | |

| Apparently the thing is real. Too bad 2Litre is keeping quiet and thinking whatever, instead of providing a link to a proper site. http://techxplore.com/news/2016-04-flyboard-air-hoverboard.html | |

| I still wonder how this can work. That flyboard is pushing his legs with at least 100kg thrust. Estimating that guy weighs about 75-80kg. Ofcourse he is attached to the board and moving with it, but still there is a significant force pushing his legs. One wrong bend of the knees would be enough to lose control. He better not sneeze... Wish they would make a bigger version, so you can lie on your stomach and fly like superman. | |
