I've got a CMOS camera on the Eachine, and experienced the dark ground situation. Can be quite bad because you loose orientation. pale
Had complete brownouts too, only that's more videosignal loss then a camera issue. Could have been from nearby powerlines, trees or whatever
Will possibly look for a CCD camera in the future. Though I do like the lower latency and price of the CMOS cameras, the CCD's seem to have a few ms delay.

Smile Didn't realise I accidentaly bought a ccd camera for my 180 quad build Surprised

I assumed all the cheap fpv cams were cmos, but apparently ccd fpv cameras can be quite cheap also.

cool

It was by mistake, but this is a nice opportunity to see the difference between cmos and ccd, maybe the latency isn't that bad.
Till few months ago I've never in my life touched RC stuff, can't expect me to know everything instantly.
Learning on the fly just comes with mistakes, so I must be careful and hope I don't screw up too bad. Smile
