Some random flying after I fixed my 3inch quad again.

I can really recommend it, takes a bit of effort to learn, but definitely worth it. And you've got some awesome terrain there to fly around.
Here's another video with slightly better flying. Also from yesterday and same spot, but better flow. It almost looks like I know what I'm doing.

Saw that scarecrow or whatever it is and thought some evil person was watching you

At first I didn't quite understand what you meant, but yes you're right. That thing between the trees really looks like somebody is standing there, I had already forgotten about it. When flying around there first time and noticing that thing I also thought somebody was standing there watching me, but on closer inspection it turned out to be a broken tree stump overgrown with Ivy. Was indeed a little wtf moment.

Deleted the first video to make space for this new one. Again same place, but this time trying to practice the backwards sideways roll. Bit rough take off and landing in this video, but the flight went nice.

Canner, your flying is getting really good,i am starting to get jealous
Cujo, your vid looked pretty good quality fullscreen in 1080p,maybe some in camera settings need tweaking a bit and some levels adjustment and add a bit of sharpening would polish it off but still very nice m8.

Thanks Recently started practicing with 'DRL simulator' more and more. It's not exactly the same as the real thing, but it works very good for figuring out rates and timing. Also getting used to moves like flying backwards and upside down is much nicer in the simulator cause it makes you crash if you get confused. Almost reaching 2000 crashes in the simulator. Will try to make a video of a practice run.

Like Mucky said the videoquality is pretty good. If you want to improve the colors, maybe add a bit saturation, contrast etc before rendering. Sometimes during the renderingproces the colors get a bit faded, you can balance this out by adding a bit too much saturation/contrast before rendering. But must be careful not to add too much, otherwise the colors get screwed.
Then Youtube also changes the colors a bit during the fileconversion. It's not impossible, but very difficult to get a upload to youtube look as good as the original.

From never flown a rc model before in my life, till flying around like this, took about a year. Been quite busy to get the hang of it, but had a lot of fun also. Still lot of things to learn, specially when it comes to the radiotransmission part and electronics stuff, but I know enough to fly and repair my quad after a crash, and that's important. And yes it is as amazing as it looks.
What you see in the video is what I see in the goggles, though it does not look this bad in real life. The FPV signal was recorded at 640x480@30fps resolution. It actually looks a bit better on the small screens inside the goggles. The camera is a tiny 700TVL camera used for FPV, like you can see on the pic below. This is the quad I used to make that vid.
