That does look a lot smoother now m8,does it feel more responsive to stick inputs also ?
Nice video as always but you need to turn that auto white balance or auto exposure to manual.

It feels a little sluggish now because of the low P, though it's still good enough to fly around and do tricks as you can see. Maybe if I spend more time tuning, specially playing with the filtering, I can get it to handle better, but this is the best I got so far.
PIDtuning is not easy to learn, if you can't try out directly what the different settings do and the effect it has on the quad. Now I've got a laptop I can try things in the field, instead of having to mess about at home.

I still haven't installed the GoPro app on my phone, too paranoid for that. And my pc has no wifi connection. So I have not been able to change any settings yet. But the new laptop I got has wifi, so I'm hoping it will be able to connect to the GoPro. Then I can finally set the exposuretime, and more important, turn on 'ProTune flat'.

Yes it does, not tried yet though, only recorded in normal wide format.
Good news about the vibrations. Replaced the Emax 2600kv RB with the new Cobra 2206 2100kv motors I bought at Multirotorparts.com. Set Betaflight PID settings back to default, and all the motor vibrations/throttle oscillations are gone. Now I really should look into improving my gopro settings. If I can't do it via my laptop, I will have to install the app on my phone, and then delete it again after I'm done.
I never installed a app on my phone. Tried it once when I just got the phone. Wanted to install a flashlight app, didn't know yet you could use the cameraflash as a flashlight. After downloading and running the installer, the fucking app wanted acces to my wifi, addresslist, gps and other things that had nothing to do with the app itself. I cancelled the install and decided never to install a app again.
The next video is a bit dark, haven't adjusted the colors, it comes straight from the Gopro. But it is to show the sound the new motors make.

That's miles ahead of the previous video mate, so smooth with those new motors.
Only slight vibration once or twice on turn, have to be very picky to see this, but from the first 20 seconds or so of video its plain to see it's way better than the Emax ones, superb...

Think I can get it even smoother if I tweak the PIDs a little bit, these are still Betaflight stock PID settings. But indeed it is much better, very happy with the new motors.

Part of the mean sound comes from the 3 blade 5045 propellors. These props are quite thick, heavy and stiff which makes them really loud. Think with the 4 blade 5040 props the sound will be much nicer.

Found out the settings can only be changed through the phone app. Bloody ridicilous Good thing I have a smartphone then.. Well in that case maybe I install the app, and then disable it each time after use. Must improve the footage.
Then to think I could have bought 3 Runcam Splits for the same money, only that did not exist yet back then. (6 months ago)

Fucking awesome, when the quad comes down from up high it sounds like an A10 warthog charging in to destroy a tank, great sound.

Yes, the new sound is great. And making those high dives is really fun.
Also from the ground as I'm flying around the sound is awesome to hear. Specially when making certain moves you can hear the blades rip through the air.
