| <--- Jelly. Not cheap at first sight, but buying all parts seperate costs about the same. These parts are tested for compatibility, and if there are no defects, it should work perfect once installed. | |

| Awesome little stack that be... Nice... Like the tools too, lots of lovely quality gear, nothing more satisfying than having the right tool for the job... That reminds me, I must buy some decent wire strippers. Most of time with my tight builds, there's that one fecking wire that is just cut too much and has to be completely replaced, annoying, found some on BG, but can't yet, saving, but might... These... After being a mechanic for 20 years I know the value of quality gear, everything is Snap-On apart from a couple of Britool ratchets (still decent). I have some expensive automatic wire strippers and they are crap for the small wires on models so I bought some cheapo ones from Banggood and they amazingly and surprisingly perfect for the job. | Cheers man, yeh I looked for some of those recently but then decided I wanted an automatic pair instead. I trust your judgement being a mechanic of course, but I've soldered for years and a good auto one makes it soooo easy to do. Thing is I know those ones you mentioned are pretty much perfect TBH, but I want to be able to strip several at same time to get correct length plus it's got a length gauge thing... Also I was doing some LEDs in my shed recently, and needed to patch in the middle of a cable, these auto ones can strip the insulation mid cable too... I know it's a bit of a risk, as these things can be basically shite especially on small wires, but they have tensioners n stuff depending on cable size, and they do do small wires too no problem... I found some Stanley Fatmax in the UK for £16, might get those instead, even though the mech is identical to the BG ones... Was gonna get those above as I wanted crimpers too, and a possible case for my Aurora/Firer copter... Bit of a risk, always wanted to try a pair, I will eat my pegs/hat if they don't work, thanks for advice though... Thing that bothers me though after saying all that lol, is will they work well with Silicone wire? I need to see someone doing it in a vid, I've got a feeling they will struggle as basically they pull more than cut and silicone stretches... I use 20 or 22 AWG small wires which are 0.6 to 0.8mm they will strip down to 0.2, can't decide yet... At this point undecided... ARSE! | |

| Fuck it, mind made up getting the ones you suggested, can't find any details on if the others work well with silicone... Ta. | |

| I have some Stanley Fatmax auto strippers (that mind connection again) They are really fucking tempremental, sometimes they will strip 10 wires in a row and other times 10 goes to strip one wire, the cheapo ones work every time perfectly,of course they will blunt after time but at that price we can chuck em in the bin and buy another pair. _________________ | |

N1, saved me some dollars, cheers. Ordered last night along with some scales so I can weigh bits and bits and looks dead profesh like... Also order 3 sets of these FC dampeners, essential for me as I like to dampen the FC and I've been after them for a while, maybe you could use these for your stack too... Sometimes you have to widen the hole a little first so be careful, maybe check the Diatone FC hole sizes first to get the rough correct diameter.. Diatone FC damping | |
