Great camera

In the side by side comparison with the go-pro session he say`s
it is just about equal in quality but from what I can see it is much
superior,of course that`s just my opinion.

Looks good, specially for about half the price of the gopro. Cool

But I think the box camera days for use with quads are pretty much over soon.
The Runcam Split weighs so much less, and as technology improves it will become the better option for flightrecording.

I think you are absolutely right,i`m sure other manufacturers are
watching the runcam splits performance in the market place very
carefully and deciding wether they should introduce their own versions.

I dunno if the days will be over TBH, I think having to effectively buy a HD camera for every one of your quads is expensive at the mo, it has it's advantages of course, but not yet...

Being able to just stick you're high quality HD box cam on top to get top footage is here for a while yet, as you only need one and can trasfer it from quad to quad.

The Split is dropping in price quickly, can buy one for €55 now. That's 3 quads, each provided with it's own cam for recording, for 'only' 165. Which is about the same a decent box camera costs. Next camera I buy will certainly be the Split. Smile
