The official story is that some italian sculptor made that kneeling Colossus statue in the 16th century.

But I can't understand how that can be true, a 35 foot statue with hammer and chisel done by one man?
Imagine just the walking back and forth between chiselsessions to get an idea of how the shape is developing.
And then how was the hair and beard made? And those other rough patches all over him, why leave it like that?
Incredible as it seems, it's easier to see how the statue was alive once, and frozen in stone somehow.
I also like how the guy from the video points out the blood patches and other signs of fossilised/mineralised organics.
Can't definitively say it is true those giant statues were alive once, but it certainly does have some credibility.
Specially since there are multiple examples of statues that have the same signs of petrified flesh and blood.
