You can slow down the play speed at the cogswheel bottom right in the youtube player to 0,25pct.
Then use the arrow keys to rewind couple of seconds for a quick replay.

This is definitively real.

It does look cultish yes, but same as you I don't know Russian, so I'm not sure either.
I thought more of it as the Russian version of the 'Monroe institute', only a lot bigger and more popular.
Since there is a special book involved it does look like some sort of religion or following.
