I'm not too worried yet, not the first time this kind of outbreak happened.
But it does look very fishy, as if the virus was released on purpose. Wuhan is located right in the middle of China, and the timing, a week before chinese newyear...

Still not sure about how bad it really is, people have been dying from the flu forever. Maybe it's just the internet and media making it easier to track this flu strain and report every flu death as if it's the start of a new global epidemic.

The coronavirus in China is spreading, and largely could have been prevented. A town 7 km from where the virus was discovered in Wuhan had a state run banquet with 100,000 people eating off of the same dishes. This was 2 days after 49 cases were confirmed in Wuhan, China. The Chinese government is trying to save face, and now it is backfiring.
This soy boy had sweaty palms and a raised temperature coming from the plane and got quarantined right away, while clearly he is not even looking sick.

Remember those pictures of socalled sick people that passed out on the street? The media made it look as if those people had the flu, and as if it was really bad.
People passing out from working too long is not even that uncommon in China.

I read on ATS about China building a top Biochemical lab in this city, that could deffo be the cause of this outbreak as i don`t remember any other flu virus causing this much panic around the world.

I also heard about that Bio lab possibly being responsible for the outbreak. There is some very strange shit going on with that facility.
I'm still not sure how serious this is, the panic could well have been caused by propaganda. People are so easily manipulated by social media and state driven propaganda tactics, it's almost ridicilous.
Here's a good video summing up all the weirdness around this virus. To skip the intro start at around 13 minutes :

Bill Gates again

Event 201
The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation hosted Event 201, a high-level pandemic exercise on October 18, 2019, in New York, NY. The exercise illustrated areas where public/private partnerships will be necessary during the response to a severe pandemic in order to diminish large-scale economic and societal consequences.
Statement about nCoV and our pandemic exercise wrote:
In October 2019, the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security hosted a pandemic tabletop exercise called Event 201 with partners, the World Economic Forum and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Recently, the Center for Health Security has received questions about whether that pandemic exercise predicted the current novel coronavirus outbreak in China. To be clear, the Center for Health Security and partners did not make a prediction during our tabletop exercise. For the scenario, we modeled a fictional coronavirus pandemic, but we explicitly stated that it was not a prediction. Instead, the exercise served to highlight preparedness and response challenges that would likely arise in a very severe pandemic. We are not now predicting that the nCoV-2019 outbreak will kill 65 million people. Although our tabletop exercise included a mock novel coronavirus, the inputs we used for modeling the potential impact of that fictional virus are not similar to nCoV-2019.

Starting to get a little worried now. A week ago they reported the first case in my country, doubling the numbers every next day. Today the first death, a 86 year old.., and also 2 cases found on the university in my town, which probably means there's dozens more cases around here. I could even be infected myself and don't even know. Just from going to the grocery store. Last week I already bought some extra toiletpaper, coffee, sugar, powdered milk, rice, oatmeal. Things are still available now, but when people start getting quarantined and 1 or 2 die here in the area, shelves could be empty in no time. Also ordered vitamines C, D, K, Iodine, and garlic. Should be taking those anyway to keep the immune system functional. But I'm not even that worried about the virus, just the thought of quarantines, healthchecks, empty stores...

National Health Agency reported there's no plans for quarantines, restricted areas or other measures, things are under control. But they have started testing hospital staff, since some got infected from caring for patients with the virus.
I'll be buying some more tp and canned veggies next week just in case.

I think 'things are under control', only means it's going as planned. They want it to spread here in my country, create panic, make people suspicious of each other.
I hope we get some good hot sun soon, and people will stop getting the sniffles.

Changed the topic title, hopefully I won't have to change it again to my own country...
People in Italy's quarantined areas risking high fine and/or prison when caught out on the street without proper reason.

I can`t understand all this media induced panic and especially the buying up toilet rolls,i don`t even think this virus causes the shits. More people die from the flu each year and they keep going on about this non stop on tv and even billboards on streets now.
Subject: Re: Coronavirus: Italy in lockdown Sun Mar 08, 2020 9:40 pm
People are hoarding tp cause you don't want to be locked up in your own house without. Better be the first to panic and prepare instead to wait and find empty storeshelves or empty toilet roll. Many supply lines have 'collapsed', halted delivery or production, including the medications coming from China/India. Warehouses may still be able to supply to the grocerystores, but if this virus panic stays or gets worse, this will only last for a time.
We will not really know if this is a global false flag event or a real dangerous virus or both, until people around us start dropping dead.

Death toll in Italy jumps by more than 130 in the past 24 hours.
There are many types of Corona, with very similar symptons, maybe that's why so many cases are found. Maybe the Corona deaths reported by the media aren't all Covid19 cases.
Could be wishful thinking ofcourse, fuck nows what's really going on, it all feels very suspicious.
Just that Italy was on the brink of economic collapse and got handed 4 billion from the EU 'to take preventative measures', and immediately goes full lock down. Bit weird they get that much extra money, for doing nothing else but shut the borders and increase security. And president Xi Jinping already payed a visit to Wuhan yesterday, if it is such a contagious and deadly virus, he would not be there this quick. (Unless he is vaccinated with a working vaccine perhaps)

The coronapanic started here in the Netherlands now too. My dad told me he went to the grocery store this morning, and people are hoarding like crazy. Toiletpaper, paracetamol etc. Somebody at the line before the cashregister was even hiding his face behind his jacket attempting to cover his mouth. The seller at the drugstore told my dad he sold out of a fresh supply of 900 cases paracetamol in a couple of hours. Saw a phonepic on the news with empty shelves and a store filled with panic buyers.
Hopefully there's still some beers left when I go get my groceries monday.

A little good news, hopefully things will be getting better soon.
Here in the Netherlands we are 1 step away from total lock down, the PM already mentioned the word.
Apart from the corona panic from media and people, I'm kind of happy lot of people are staying at home. There's so much less traffic and air pollution last couple of days, I haven't coughed as much as usual.
