Tried hovering upside down with my 3D quad today, almost got it at the last battery. Need more practice, but it's better than previous time when I was doing the first test flights.

I've disabled 'maximum arm angle', so next time I'll be able to take off upside down. That will make it a lot easier to practice hovering and coordinating.

Thanks
I should try center the camera a bit more, so the horizon is right on the middle, maybe that will make it easier to flip and hover upside down.

Went flying again today.
Straightened the camera, like mentioned above, and tuned my rates a bit. Made the handling a lot better. I actually managed to flip the quad and hover inverted without too much effort. Also flying upside down went a lot better, though still not very coordinated.
Unfortunately I crashed at the first battery. The battery suddenly had voltage dip at the end. A small piece got chopped off the vtx antenna and the videofeed was ruined. I could still fly, but the video was very noisy and the range only a meter of 5, so no dvr recordings.
No big problem, I have already found a spare antenna, so don't need to wait for a new one to come from China.

Bought 8 new batteries at Banggood (4s850mah), will see how long it takes for them to arrive from China.
And the new antenna is a lot better than the one that broke last time after a crash, so that worked out nice.
In the next video I added a throttle position counter to the OSD, that way you can see when I reverse the throttle.

Heh! Crazy flying bro! Do the motors reverse when your upside down ? i can`t get my head around how it works, like shouldn`t the props pull you towards the ground?

Yes and yes

It's not automatically, I invert the throttle after flipping the quad upside down.
In 3Dmode the throttle stick on the radio is centered. Moving the throttle up makes the motors spin normal, but down makes the motors spin in reverse.
I'm surprised it works this well without 3D propellors. Maybe it's because I use 4 bladed props on a lightweight 4 inch quad. (+-270grams incl battery) It hovers upside down at only -30pct throttle.
