How could they make all those carvings, and all of it flawless?     

Just the size of the place is amazing and then the detail in
the carvings,how did they plan it out to start with?
i can`t believe they just built it as they went alomg.

Who or what ever build it must have had computer technology or something similar.
It must have been superadvanced technology or even beyond that.

The only way I can think of is to use a 3d modeling program to design it all.
Then print all stones and details in advance, and make a building out of the prefab pieces.

But even that idea does not really explain how it was done, because they never found the tools and machines to do it.
