Subject: Spectacular volcano electrical outburst Sat Aug 19, 2023 2:12 pm
This isn't normal lightning striking the volcano, can clearly see it is going upward first. It looks like the Earth is electrically discharging into the atmosphere through the volcano. Also this happened the same day the volcano eruption in Iceland started, July 10. I don't know if the sound is added or that it actually sounded like this.
The dummies from the news channel are saying it is just some optical illusion.
Quote :
A thunderstorm produced a spectacular optical effect when lightning struck near Acatenango Volcano in Guatemala on July 10. Footage taken by Derrick Douglas Steele in Antigua shows spider lightning bolts illuminating the sky as they appear to shoot upwards from the volcano. Steele told Storyful he saw the lightning hitting the volcano on and off during the storm. “I jumped off my motorcycle and hit record, sure enough the second I started the video the crazy lightning went off!” he said.
I thought this was the same lightning as the first video, from a different angle. But it seems this isn't the same volcano, One is Agua and the other Acatenango, they are 2 neighbouring volcanos. So, wow multiple volcanos discharging electricity. I'm aware of lightning forming during an eruption, but this is new for me.
