ive buckled and ordered it

gotten bored with the limited range of the p3 standard..actualy puts me off fyling it at such limited range
so yea ive ordered the range extender,,didn't really want to start taking my controller to bits but the swap doesn't seem too bad
so yea few days will see how it does

Hope it works, and that the range is not limited by the Dji firmware to conform to EU rules/law.
It certainly will improve the signalstrength, giving better video when flying further away.

I found this video Cujo needs to look at, to improve the range you might need to hack the Phantom from CE protocol to FCC, also suggest to read the comments on youtube. :
