| With the amount of money VW make they could could just build a roof over the carpark to protect new cars from hail. A cheaper to do it this way and destroy the farmers way of life though... | |

| Literally scratching my head over this stupidity. To prevent haildamage to their new cars? I'm sure a roof would be cheaper then continuously running that anti hail machine. Plus those cars are standing there for weeks in the blazing sun. What about the sunlight UV damage discoloring the fresh paint and interiour? And then they even manage to lie about the fact it only affects a radius of 500 meters, while hail forms much higher. They steal the rain from area tens of kilometers in size, and even affect the weather beyond. - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] wrote:
- Around thunderstorms, hail is most likely within the cloud at elevations above 20,000 feet (6,100 m). Between 10,000 feet (3,000 m) and 20,000 feet (6,100 m), 60 percent of hail is still within the thunderstorm, though 40 percent now lies within the clear air under the anvil. Below 10,000 feet (3,000 m), hail is equally distributed in and around a thunderstorm to a distance of 2 nautical miles (3.7 km)

That would make sense, have them fuck off so they stop complaining about the factory, and at the same time create more space to expand the company. Bastards | |
