This one of the main reasons i want to build a new PC using the i7 coffeelake chip,hopefully my rendering in premiere will speed up massively ... can`t wait to compare for myself.

Should also get a M.2 SSD to use as primary drive, this will makes things even faster.

Im confused I thought the Ryzen kicks intels ass when it comes to video editing and production and it's cheaper or am i wrong?

Watching this benchmark video, there doesn´t seem to be one ´best´ cpu for video editing. Each has it´s own advantages or downsides over the other.

It`s just that in Adobe Premiere pro Ryzens extra cores don`t give it an advantage over Intels faster clock speed when rendering out video. Also Adobe added hardware acceleration for Intel chips but not AMD.
