2000 Year Old Baghdad Battery – Will it Produce Electricity?

I wonder how high the voltage was back in the time these batteries were build and used, the Earth has changed a lot since then.
And maybe they could be charged to produce a higher voltage than what he is measuring now.

They would certainly of needed a lot of pots to get
any sort of usefull power.
I was wondering about what they could do with such
low power and like he says in the video i believe it
was mainly used to electroplate things,like they
had a lot of gold plated items and gold goes a long
way when it is electroplated on.

While watching the video he says they used juice and wine, which made me think maybe it wasn't used as battery at all, but to electrify the drink for health benefits or to sterilise. So I searched on google for :  electrified water for health
