Definitely going to try this.
But besides converting the quad to 3D, I also need to adjust the springs from the throttle gimbal on the Taranis to center. It's not difficult but quite a hassle to do for 1 or 2 times flying. I'd need to adjust my other quads to work with a centered throttle. Or keep adjusting the Taranis gimbal, which is probably a bad idea since it will wear down the gimbal mechanics.
It will be so awesome to fly or hover upside down and do all kinds of weird tricks.

Even the pros aren't really good at it, difficult to find a flightvideo with actual good 3D FPV drone flying.
Maybe it turns out to be too difficult for me, but I have to try it.

There's 1 important thing possible with 3D that I haven't seen anybody try, not even the pros. The posibility to brake mid air! Tip the quad slightly forward, reverse throttle and level the quad. Normally you'ld have to flip the quad almost 180 degrees backwards to brake, but that's disorientating. Probably one of the first tricks I'm going to try once I have converted the quad and transmitter.
