Found this old video from a single bladed rc helicopter.
Not sure which one is more impressive... the omnicopter or this one.

That does look like the perfect design for a single seater. Hope he has it patented well. Also wonder if he has had an email from NASA yet.

I read in the comments he may pull a John Carmack by releasing the code and building scheme so everyone can build their own. It is originally build for a quadcopter flightcontroller design contest, called 'the Lynchpin' : https://www.terryslynchpins.com/
I think he wants to prevent the company from claiming rightful ownership of his work after entering and winning the contest. At this stage his design is already working so well, I'd say fuck the contest and patent or sell for big money. Minor problem is he did use the Lynchpin frame and concept, which probably already has some kind of patent.
