Last November British sniper Corporal Craig Harrison made two kill shots at 2,707 yards in HELMAND PROVINCE. AFGHANISTAN breaking the previous record set by Canadian Rob Furlong in 2002 by 50 yards.
Corporal Harrison killed two Taliban with consecutive bullets from 1.54 miles! (3200 ft beyond the offical range of his rifle!!!)
The rifle was a British built L115A3. The most powerful sniper gun and only ever issued to British Army
