| Two days ago I was sitting outside relaxing in the garden smoking a small spliff (pure only) and drinking a beer. Watching the sky, enjoying the few stars the lightpollution allows me to see overhere. Some planes went by, easily recognizable by their repetetive flashing lights. Then I saw something, what appeared to be just a plane at first, but got me wondering anyway. A very bright constant shining white light passing over, at the same speed of an airliner. The light didnt dim out as it passed by, it stayed equally bright. Back then I did hear a sound as if it was just an airliner, a large low flying one. But... this evening I saw the same light again, only this time i didnt hear any sound. Other planes flew by, looking and sounding normal as ever, and not nearly as bright as the one I am describing. Although the object seemed to fly lower and shine much brighter, I checked the orbit of the ISS but doesn't look like that was it. ...Just saying | |

| I also thought it might be a satelite, I've seen them fly over before. But this looked much too bright, and it didn't flash or change brightness. If I see it again, I will try to film or get pictures. It could also be a foglight of a plane. But then I would expect to see some dimming when viewing the plane from behind after it passed by. Anyway, it got me wondering enough to write about it. It just looked different from the other regular airtraffic. It did fly somewhat the same course and direction on both days. No sudden turns or other things, so it could be just an airplane/satelite. | |

| Around here helicopters have static (non flashing) lights and sometimes you can`t hear them depending on the weather conditions....maybe it`s some rich businessman flying home each night Unless the light is jumping around and doing amazing U-turns at speed I uaually put it down to something man made. _________________ | |

Rich guy being funny in his LED pimped helicopter. But yes helicopters and small aircraft often have big static lights. The sound I heared was more like from a jet engine (or more), unfortunatly it was too dark to recognize a plane. - muckyman wrote:

I was really hoping it would do that, but it behaved more like a regular aircraft, and so probably indeed man made. ..Too bad I want to see a real UFO so much | |
