I wonder how fast this DXR software raytracing is on the RTX series with the onboard hardware raytracing feature disabled.
Would be screwed if it turns out this special and hyped RTX raytrace feature isn't that much faster as DXR.
Maybe it just runs better because the RTX series are newer and faster then the GTX.

Remember when PhysX just came on the market it needed a special card with dedicated hardware for physics rendering.
A year later they released a new driver that made it possible to use any GPU with the same results.
