Hope all went well with the unpacking and everything's fine so far. Also hope you are going to be careful with it. Don't fly it into a tree or over the water. I suggest to first study it well, before starting to fly. Learn how to calibrate the gyro, because you don't know if it's calibrated properly in the factory. And also important is learning to switch from autopilot to manual flight, just in case there's an undetected obstacle or gps error.
Actually not even done a testflight with mine. Still waiting for good props and more batteries. But I'm fine with taking it slow, watching a lot of youtube saves me from making stupid mistakes. Today I installed OpenPilotGCS on my computer and hooked my Eachine to the pc, so I could update the firmware from the CC3Dflightcontroler. Came across some stuff I didn't understand that I had to look into first, so I decided to wait with the update. But I could also check out the current settings on the CC3D. Was a bit shocked to see how offset the gyro calibration was, had I tried a out of the box testflight it probably wouldn't have been a nice experience.

I'm assuming you're still messing with that app. Big anticlimax those Android problems. Really sucks paying a lot of money, and then this kind of problems. Done a bit of searching and found out a lot of people having compatibility issues with the Android app. Read the comments at the bottom of this page: http://www.quadhangar.com/dji-phantom-3-top-42-questions-answered/

krist says: August 19, 2015 at 7:04 am i have a tab 3 sm-t110 how can i maked it work with my phantom 3 advanced? Reply Jim says: August 19, 2015 at 1:25 pm If it’s not on the DJI list of recommended tablets, it won’t work at all or it won’t work well. You will have nothing but problems. If you still want to pursue it, on your Tab 3, go to the Google Play store and see if you can install the DJI Go app. If it is not available (doesn’t show up), it means your tablet is not compatible with the app and you should not use your tablet. If it is available, install it and see how it works.
Unless you own one of the above mentioned devices and can get it fixed, your only option is to buy a extra phone or tablet which does provide support. Sad to say, but in that case your better off sending the quadcopter back to the store, if that's still possible, and maybe look for another model.

Ah so it does work, only a bit buggy, or did you solve the problem already? Would be inconvenient if you got a call during flying and the app locks up or looses wifi.
Sucks you're to ill to go out and use that awesome toy, get better soon!

I am patiently waiting for other props before trying a testflight.

That's great. This way you can practice at home, instead of having to read the manual and remembering everything when your out flying. Would suck having to learn all that stuff somewhere out on a field. Pretty complicated all those possibilities when flying with gps.
You might find this interesting info: http://www.noflydrones.co.uk/
I live inside a big noflyzone. Fortunately my house is right at the edge(the red x), so literally on the other side of the street the noflyzone ends. But strictly taken I cannot even fly in my own garden.
