Looking for a new, and better, fpv camera. Almost bought the Runcam Owl Plus. But I decided to look around a bit more before buying. It's very difficult, there are quite big differences in performance, with each camera being good at specific things, but not 1 is the best overall.
Also found this nightcamera, wish I had some money to waste on this one, I would try to mount it to a telescope : http://www.banggood.com/RunCam-Night-Eagle-0_00001Lux-800TVL-Global-WDR-NTSCPAL-Switchable-BlackWhite-Camera-p-1095708.html?currency=EUR&utm_source=criteo&utm_medium=cpc&utm_content=all&utm_campaign=toys-and-hobbies-NL
Here are a few comparison videos to see the difference:

RunCam Night Eagle is a military grade night vision video camera
I would love one of these just for night time, maybe in future when the price drops due to competition.
Good look choosing a camera, there are so many and they all do good at most things but some better than others.

Absolutely! Imagine the amount of stars you can see with this thing, even in areas with lightpolution. I'd probably be hunting UFO's every cloudless night.

Done some research on youtube, comparing all different types. Runcam Owl Plus has a bit weird colors during daytime, quite dark shadows, and some noticable latency. So I went to look for the Runcam Eagle 4:3 with WDR(wide dynamic range). It's very expensive but the image looks good, and clear. But during flying there appears to be some messy pixelations from the digital HDR filter, and also latency.
So that's not a very good one either, specially considering the price(62E). Then I decided to go look for a cheaper one like the FoxeerHS1177 and eventually found an even cheaper one, a clone with almost the exact same specs as the Foxeer. So maybe this is the best camera to get. Though the resolution is a bit low, it handles light and shadow quite well.
Oh well, with the shitty weather lately enough time to look around for a new camera. And obviously higher price does not always mean better quality.

Been looking a bit more at the Runcam Eagle, very impressed with the Global WDR and colors. Also the 800tvl is a plus vs the 600tvl from a cheap camera. Only thing about the Eagle is the price, almost 3 times more then the cheap PZ0420.
Here's a good video that shows the difference between the Eagle and the PZ0420.
