Ok,some update pics.
Some Robocat pix to start with, finally got all motors working and now needs setting up in betaflight.
Still need to fix camera and VTX to the top cover.
Also still needs a lot of tidying up

And now the GEP Leopard....
ESC`s soldered to motors ready for cutting to length and soldering to the F4 flight controller.
Not up to Pro Peg standard obviously but doing ok.

That's the robotcat, looks like one big wide ass mofo of a quad that one next to the leopard... Love that Leopard frame, and looking good so far mate...

I shall teach you young padwan... ...right length wires and remembering to put heat shrink on before soldering both ends helps a lot, but sometimes if wire is too short you have to do it again, so beware... Double back sticky 3M foam tape is awesomely strong to...
Heat Shrink stuff, I have a heat gun, never use it, a little jet lighter is fine.... I bought this little lot and a small compartmentalised case to put it all in... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01AIHQEZE/ref=pe_1909131_77697001_tnp_email_TE_AMZLdp_2 3M double sided foam tape, red backing, got from Tesco or Wilko... ...this stuff is incredibly strong and perfect for light weight components, tip to get it off pull your thumbs over it instead of digging at it so it rolls off, takes a while but works great.... Cutting the stuff gunks up scissors pretty much instantly and you have to wipe with Isopropyl spray (Servisol - Maplin) or similar after every cut. ...but I have an idea of how to cut it easier... Pull of what you need, stick it on either a plastic breadboard, one of those rough surfaced ones, or a flat silicone matt of some sort you can get for kitchen use (will try this myself) and slice it with a scalpel + fresh blade. Check this lot out though, general search on amazon, I could do with thinner stuff so I don't have to cut it as much. https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=sr_pg_3?rh=n%3A79903031%2Ck%3A3m+double+sided+foam+tape&page=3&keywords=3m+double+sided+foam+tape&ie=UTF8&qid=1504006765&spIA=B074P632SZ,B074G5YK3X,B074PKN23Y,B073FK3W5B,B00EDLPG7Y,B074GZL285[/quote]
But I noticed you have not put heatshrink on the ESCs, must be careful not to get a short from the carbonfiber that way. Might want to wrap some electrical tape around them, before finally taping the ESCs to the arms. Have you looked into how to update BLHeli firmware to the latest version with BLHeliSuite?
Now put that Runcam Split and a receiver on there, and try to get some testflights done before the end of the season.

I cant get the damn thing to receive a signal from my radio. Have tried 2 different receivers both solid green lights but radio won`t work in betaflight or normaly. Am using Sbus and all wires are connected in correct way....Grr.

Aww that sucks, had a few of those moments during my quad building career last year, but always managed to work it out. Difficult to help without any further info, but getting angry from frustration does not fix it. I assume you have set the channelmapping correctly, and no response at all. I'd start reading the comments and questions section from that FC on Banggood, often there is a solution. If the light on the receivers turns green there is a connection to the radio. So either it is a setting in Betaflight, or the UARTport is not working for whatever reason. Do you have other UART ports on that FC you can try? Not sure about this, but maybe it helps to update the firmware of the receivers.
and found this site: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2857152-F4-V5PRO-Flight-Controller-5-8G-40CH-0-25-200-600mW-Switchable-FPV-Transmitte-w-5V-B/page2
Think this is the most important comment to look at:
#1 I use a turnigy evolution controller: it will NOT work on the sbus lead on the plug in the manual. that is inverted. instead i had to move the signal wire to the rx 3 and use UART3 in betaflight. all is working.
Here Blue Falcon explains it a little more, before you try this hack, I suggest trying the RX 3 option first.
Well, thanks canner but....no joy. I`m thinking I must have a bollox FC board, Will keep looking and trying but it looks like one for the bin and a new FC.
You can still try updating the firmware of the receiver, it might help. Also tried the signalwire on the RX2 port? Otherwise maybe reflash the firmware of the flightcontroller. Hope you can get it fixed. I've had this same issue with several builds, and always managed to fix it somehow. Just keep trying, and reading around on the web.
On the other hand you do have that awesome flytower lying around, maybe give that a try.
And look at the F4 V5Pro some other day.

Ok after all the trouble with this FC I had left it alone for a while then a few weeks ago I spotted a new FC that would fit perfect and decided to get that and the matching VTX so I could just plug stuff straight in with the minimal of soldering required.
Looks good, hope it works fine. Maybe update Betaflight firmware first, and test if it sees the receiver and receiving radiosignals, before starting the rest of the build.
btw, thought you already almost finished a build, got any pics of that?
