RCExplorer BICOPTER BUILD/setup video

Interesting, and it flies pretty well it seems.

Looks great...sort of futuristic Terminator style craft.
I bet it`s damn hard to set up right and get it to fly perfect though.

I like the idea, and it looks good. But also looks pretty fragile, that tiltmachanism easily gets damaged in a crash. Maybe some protectors would help.
Wonder how it flies in fpv. With less props it should be more agile, but it depends on the speed of the tiltmechanism how quick it can turn.

Now somebody should build a proper 1 motor quad, if that is even possible without adjustable propblades.

I considered writing helicopter, but that's not exactly what I meant. If I had written helicopter it would have given the wrong visual.
What I mean does not include a tail rotor at the back, just the large propellor at the top.

But as I'm writing, I got this idea which would theoretically make it possible to exclude a tail rotor.
Not sure how it works out with the aerodynamics, but maybe it could work.

Imagine a tilt mechanism, with another tilt mechanism mounted upsidedown to it.
Then you got 2 propellors, one on top one at the bottom, facing each other.
It would need some serious reprogramming of the flightcontroller, tilt mech., and gyro.
But if it works, you've got something that can possibly fly like a ufo.
On the other hand, it might not fly at all...
