Oooooh! Didn`t know about these,i don`t think they are a vast improvement on the ev200d`s though.

First time I see these too.
But like you said not a lot different than the previous one. Main thing that is added is the advanced eye piece adjustment. Not really worth the upgrade from the 200D, unless you wear glasses. I do like the new design better, looks a little more compact than the 200D.
