The Barrow 22th July 2014....

A little IR guided tour around the barrow at around 4 am sill dark but not pitch...
 All fine until I got to chambers entrance for some reason the Yukons infra red illuminator wasnt seeing more than 7 feet inside the barrow ,the big main chamber at the end is around 23 feet  away the yukon is capable of seeing up to 90 metres... as you watch the first chamber is well illuminated but as I pan lefttheres total blackness and I know I dont sound it but was getting a tad spooked     The more I think about it the weirder it becomes the end of the barrow should of been lit up well..I didn't have the head torch this trip would of been interesting test...well decided to pack the gear and leave the place early maybe The Trickster was playing games with me  

So Ladies theory time all I no is this a Darkness that is invisible to the Infra red Spectrum cannot be  a good thing.....

Isn`t the Yukon an image intensifier rather than a full on infra red ?
If so there wouldn`t be any light down there to intensify so it would stay dark.

Built in IR illuminator mucky range Like I mentioned aroiund 70 feet wouldnt me much use with out Ir now would it mmm need to fix that date thing fast before they start realising im john fucking titor....swore i set that cam to right date though....  more trickster er tricks maybe...)
 Oh saw damed odd mlitary plane its wing & main body seemed to have white strobe lighting attached ..looked like a dam christmas fairy but was def a plane heard the engines and nope no video was setting up camp at time but worth mentioning  

Not exactly sure how the camera works, but my theory is that the air or atmosphere was colder deeper inside, maybe there was a little bit mist or damp, which the light could not penetrate. Maybe it was too dark for the camera to register and autoadjust exposuretime.

Maybe next time you could try throwing a glowstick in the cave   

  

Was thinking more along hand grenade lines canner....was a very warm night warmest iv ever known it there cant see heat inversions stopping visibility in the IR spectrum...there was some ritual magic going on earlier probaly trying to summon the barrow guardians maybe something demonic slipped thru instead place been used for magical cermonies for a 1000 years the good type and the not so good type heh...

Oh and its not a bloody cave ) lololo

   actually not that far off m8y Its seriously toasty in winter

PS This aint explaining the reason a yukon INFRARED ILLUMINATOR couldnt see beyond 8 or so feet  oh forgot to add new crop circle appeared il post pics and awesome and hauntingly stunning video  soon.... its got very sharp edges..
