yup quite interesting...could just be a trick of the eyes though.
Until someone goes there and takes pictures from ground level we will never know.

Does look like a pyramid. There appears to be another smaller one closeby.

Too bad a lot of photos for that place are low res. Even a piece that looks like airbrushed fog.

Actually I'm not sure about this pyramid. It could be like Mucky said a trick of light, or just a pyramid shaped mountain.
There are more mountains in the area with the same kind of slopes and angles.



Looked some more on the Southpole to see if I could find anything interesting, but nothing so far.
Then I remembered from long ago, from the time before Google Maps/Earth, I found a triangle shaped area in the Barentszzee.
It wasn't even on the computer, but in a real book with paper pages, called something like the World Atlas.
I had lost the exact location and could never find it back searching with Google, have sought many times without succes.
But now I found it back

It is really interesting, but nowadays we can be very easy manipulated by map and photo providers like google or m$. Things on maps are blurred, and why can't they be photoshoped in other way, replaced? What i'm saying is, how sure can we be of things given us by large businesses, you will never know... Ttip is an example...
Idea of free trade is good, but why is this so secret? Thees examples you can point until tomorrow's evening...
