| See these shiny things, they are mine, all these shiny things are mine. Yay, BangGood are DamnGood, will within time limit delivery, although I was panicking a little they did take 16 days.... So, for my new mini build/distraction/test flyer/practise machine, we have these shiny things: Eachine Aurora 100mm mini brushless, blah blah. (OMG this is so tiny n sexy I just wanna eat it, much smaller than I thought it would look) Eachine Firer 110mm Carbon Frame. (As a back up, plus it also has protection for FPV aerial) 2 x Gaoneng 7.4v 2s 450Mah 80c LiPos with XT30s (Didn't do much research on these, they were cheap, I looked for ages, and these got good~ish BangGood reviews) XT60 Parallel Charging board for my ISDT 300w charger. (Multi-tasking charging jiggery pokery) 4 x Motor Nut, alloy, light and coloured. (Why not, I'll get bored with those funky cone things I have, and probably lose one or two) Realacc Motor Grip Pliers. (A Must for gripping those pesky little motor barrels and other, ahem shafts) 5 Pairs Eachine Lizard95 props 2035 2x3.5x5 50.8mm. (Testing 5 bladers at some point, I know fecking pink, they didn't haven' polka dot in stock) 5 Pairs Eachine 2035 50mm 4 blade props. (Spare shiny things, more red than pink this time) Eachine ROTG01 OTG 5.8G 150CH FPV Receiver for Android. (Works great, lag looks about 60-80ms ish, that'll do for a good cheap practice) 2 x Silicone battery pads. (So they seat better when strapped to Quad) Paint Marker, Red. (Gonna paint the edges of my Nighthhawk frame, purely for looks, and to attract the ladies) Now, did I realise I'd need to somehow make the connector from the battery fit the quad? Yes and no... When I ordered I realised I'd have to get some XT30s, replace the one on the Aurora, then on the original stock battery. I totally forgot to order these, which also stops me charging the fecking batteries, as my charger only has XT60 output. Nay problem, ordered a bag full o XT30s and 60s today, so I can mod stuff, so it'll all work together in perfect harmony. Shiny things, mine. | |

Now your data is in the system, next time it will probably go faster. - Quote :

I also made my own xt30female to xt60male adapterplugs, so I could use the parallel charging board.

Cool, great minds n all that ...hopefully these will come tomorrow, or Sat more likely, so I can get my batteries charged. 1 question on batteries Canner, which did you get for your mini, make etc, as I'm sure those I have are just OKish and I have not had time to investigate revies on 450mah~ish batteries?

I bought these 500mah 3s 45C batteries: https://www.banggood.com/ZOP-Power-11_1V-500mAh-45C-3S-Lipo-Battery-XT60-Plug-p-1088324.html?rmmds=search They give about 4-5 minutes flighttime, 6 if you take it easy.

They give about 4-5 minutes flighttime, 6 if you take it easy. Ah yes Zops, I recall them now being quite good, N1 mate, cheers, shame I didn't spot them the first time, N1, will bag a couple... Might have to lower throttle curve though, which will help to increase flight time. I've read about putting 3s through the 7500KV motors that come with the Aurora wouldn't be a good idea as it may pull too much from ESCs, hence reason why the Lizard has lower spec 6000KV motors. I may be wrong on this and I'm only going off one thing I heard recently whilst looking at the Lizard reviews and specs. Will do some research on this, but I reckon these batteries + reduced top end on throttle curve would be perfect. Plus If I get the 3s Zops it opens up options for getting those more matched 6000KV motors for potentially more power, win win. Thanks Canner, Zops it is.

| The magic letter box didn't disappoint today.... I can finally charge my batteries properly by making some adapters and modding my mini Aurora to accept XT30s... Only problem with getting all this stuff is where to put it all!!! Last couple of days I've bought a mini organiser, some bits went in there, screws, standoffs, spares etc, a small Stanley toolbox, again props, charger, tools etc when in, now I need yet another larger organiser to fit what's left in, including my purchase of 32 motor tilts, with a total of 128 screws for them all!!! Hehe... | |

| Sexy CF 10mm tube, all I need to do now is work out an efficient and non chopping fingers way of slicing right down the middle along it's length! Some sort of clamp for my Dremel type drill to make a mini saw bench should do it, handheld should be ok, might be a bit wobbly though. | |

| Cool stuff, carbonfiber tubing. Almost a pity to saw them to pieces, would be perfect to use for quad-arms. Not easy making a nice cut over the length. Only tip I can think of is to make sure you have a steady sawblade. No matter how straight you make the saw guide, if the saw pulls to the side you're screwed. And wear a breathmask if sawing that much carbonfiber, the CF dust is really bad for the lungs | |

It is rather exotic lovely crafted stuff, I love CF, but it'll be even more so once I've finished I promise lol. it's only 0.5mm think too, as thin as a straw, but well strong for it's size and weight... Cheers, yeh, gotta be steady, I've been after a mini saw table for a while, and I've worked out that a tile cutter that has a resevoir for water for a wet cut seems perfect, it'll absorb dust too, has a diamond blade etc. I've looked into how to craft Carbon, correct tools etc, types of blade etc... I shall wear a mask too of course cheers... Watch this space, hopefully when I get my hands on the Tile cutter tomrrow, I'll be able to use it, as long as I can fashion a suitable clamp and guide for the 10mm tube, which is the tricky bit. Will report back when I've lost a couple of fingers...

| Finally got my RunCam3 ordered as they came back in stock late last night, although it ends up costing twice as much as I find lots of other SHITE to buy LOL... Not really shite of course, but extra bits like 30 degree holder, leads, aerials, hole driller, ISDT cable to update charger, rocker covers for Taranis, waterproof case, etc etc... Right I'm off to setup a chair behind the letterbox and fry up some sausages whilst I wait... | |

| Well yeh I sort of got a RunCam3....
When I put my order in it was in stock, after I paid for my order it was in stock, the day after I paid for my order it was still in stock, later that day my RunCam3 order was on backorder, and guess what it was at that point out of stock! Seems they don't remove it from stock when you click purchase or when they take your money, only when everything's payed for and the order picker goes to see if it's still on the shelf!!! Gits... For such a large global company like this, you'd think their automated system would immediately remove it from the stock list to avoid any confusion for buyers and make the whole process of sending out orders and not stockpiling them due to individual items missing much easier, especially since things take weeks to come. They don't let you know either that this happens, I worked it out from what's happened, the same order has a silicone covering thing for the camera and a waterproof housing. The silicone thing is also now out of stock.
Good news though after a couple of days the RunCam3 is back in stock, although that was last night, my order is still on backorder because the silicone protector thing is still out of stock until July FFS!!!!!
I hope my camera has now been order picked, and they are just waiting for the silicone thing, or are they so stupid as to wait for everything to be in stock before picking bits, not happy with this, not much I can do but be patient, and I'm not very patient!!!
I want them to send my order without the silicone thing, but I fear things will get lost in translation so I don't think it's worth asking...
If there's something I want in future to come quickly, as it's the most important thing I want to get my hands on, I'll order that thing on it's own. As it's free delivery it makes no difference, it'll just mean if it's out then back in stock it'll be sent rather than waiting for rest of order to be fulfilled.
ARSE! | |

ARSE! I feel your pain, happened to me to couple of times. Waiting forever on a small part for the order to complete. Don't worry the camera will be on wait till the order is complete. Or if you can't wait 1 - 2 weeks for the protector to get in stock, you can easily cancel that part of the order and get refund. In my case Banggood was pretty fast with refunding. On the other hand, it is possible that the protector is suddenly in stock the next day.

| That's a good idea, I've just tried to Apply Refund, then selected Out Of Stock from pull down menu, I presume it will just refund me on the single out of stock item from the 4 items in that order... ...but I'm not sure, as it's just giving me a spinning progress wheel after selecting it, it's not clear whether it's going to attempt to refund to whole order, or just refund the out of stock item as I wasn't able to select the actual item. I'm sure it'll work, but it's been on spinning wheel for 5 mins now, fingers crossed... Thanks Canner. | |

Thanks Canner.
You can click refresh now Maybe I'd cancel the entire order, preorder a Runcam Split, and wait a few weeks on that. Saves a little money and weight on the build, plus it can't brake like a normal camera.

| Refeshed, it cancelled my wholes 4 item order!!!! It didn't give me an option to select an individual item, only a pull down which said Out of Stock, so I was sure that meant it would cancel the out of stock item... Oh no, it's cancelled my entire order, I'm almost annoyed, no I am annoyed... ...I waited weeks for it to be in stock, they sell out in days, waited again and managed to order it, then only to find they sold them all before picking my order, it comes back in stock and now they cancelled the whole fecking order... Tis funny, but I am ever so slightly annoyed lol... ARSE!!!! Posted on the order help forum, asking for 3 to be sent, see what happens, wait for dollars maybe and re-order, be patient, whatever that means.... | |

| Aww very annoying. Maybe you were on the wrong page? I'm almost sure I've seen the option to cancel individual items. Can't check it right now, all my current orders are shipped. Anyway don't be too upset about the Runcam3. Wait for the refund, get a Split, and enjoy the 25% longer flighttime. It sucks all this stress and then waiting a bit more, but in a few weeks you'll be happy you did so. I've seen stuff on Banggood I really wanted, but no money or out of stock, few weeks later it's already replaced with newer, better and cheaper versions. Now I just look for what I need most, Banggood will not dissappear suddenly, so I can always get things later. | |

Thanks Canner no worries, I could have been on the wrong page, possibly, I did take a good look around first and think twice before hitting refund, but hey ho, it is what it is, live and learn... - Quote :

Nah, don't like the form factor of the split as I wanted to be able to use the RC3 for other stuff away from the quad, I'll stick to the 3 I reckon for now, I know they're same virtually in quality, just want an all in one package RC3 is perfect. I got the Email from BangGood about the refund, have to wait now possibly 7 days ish as I'm out of funds, what a fuck up lol. Hopefully when I get my pennies back I can order another, hopefully, and on it's own as a single item just in case, will order other bits separately.
